The Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® Inc. reports:
"The number of June 2010 MLS® sales show a decrease of 4 Sales compared to June 2009. 288 Sales were reported in June 2010 compared to 292 reported sales in June 2009"
MLS® sales saw a slight drop in June 2010 over May 2010, however the Peterborough region is remaining on par with June sales from the past 2 years. With Cottages and Commercial properties showing an increase in Sales June 2010 over June 2009.
Mortgage Rates remain attractive, 3.84% 5 year fixed rate (OAC) posted by the Royal Bank of Canada. Helping to make the Peterborough region stable and the inventory of properties available for sale keeping pace with demand.
