The True Adventure

The joys of Real Estate in the winter in Ontario!  Here I was, merrily going on my way, to pick up for sale signs on a lot north of Peterborough.  Beautiful day for a drive, why not, the heater works.

2 hours later, stuck on a hill, waiting for someone to come help get me out.  The vehicle slid backwards, then to the side for about 40 feet.  The car, completely blocked the single lane, the nose pointing to a rock, and an uphill view.  The tail, about a foot away from a downhill slid through trees.  It was an amazing feet, if I do say so myself.  This could not have been done if you intentionally tried.

It took some really intricate maneuvering, and someone pushing in different directions, at different times, to get the car straight. Forward, reverse, forward, reverse...what fun!

Then it had to be driven further down towards water (yes it would have been in the water if the car slipped again) to get a good run at the hill.

Made it out, got the signs, got the photo's too!
